Rafael Benitez has revealed that young starlets David Amoo, Daniel Pacheco and Nathan Eccleston could get first team opportunities in the not too distant future.
With Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres and Yossi xBenayoun sidelined the trio could be called upon to help the team.
While the manager is working hard with his scouting department to try and find new recruits, the boss admitted he could give John McMahon's reserve team regulars an opportunity.
"It's difficult to manage when you lose three players with quality that normally start games but we cannot talk too much about them at the moment because they won't be available for a while, so we have to start working with the rest of the players," Benitez told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"We know Torres is a very important player for us but Ngog is doing well and we have some other options with Kuyt so we will see if we can manage.
"Amoo, Pacheco and Eccleston have been training with us this week. We know they have quality but when things are not going very well you have to be careful with the young players, so we have to support them and we will see.
"We have some good young players but we have to be careful with them and don't want to push them too early, but they have quality and maybe they can do a job for us."
Former Millwall youngster Amoo was given squad number 46 this season and the powerful winger has been in outstanding form for McMahon's table-topping side.
"Amoo has been doing really well and he has pace," added Benitez. Eccleston and Pacheco also have quality.
